Security Manager


Location: Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar, Somalia
Role Description

Providing the highest levels of contract performance with the designated Client/Project. Ensuring full compliance with the contract, operational effectiveness and the highest standards of service delivery. Ensuring the effective and engaging management, supervision and training of their assigned guard force.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act as a focal point and maintain close liaison with the client to ensure contract goals are met in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Manage all aspects of the performance of IDG personnel assigned to their project/location - operational, logistical and administrative.
  • Ensure the morale, welfare and life support of all Project personnel. Manage assigned personnel safety, welfare, wellness, and health.
  • Ensure the training and development of assigned guards in coordination with the Training Manager.
  • Prepare periodic reports for the clients on issues arising and all milestones in accordance with contracts.
Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years related experience in a high-threat environment dealing/liaising with international and government organizations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supervisory/managerial positions.
  • Preferably with a Security Industry Authority (SIA) license or recognized equivalent.
  • Proficient in report writing, data analytics, and PowerPoint.
  • Physically fit without medical restrictions preventing full performance of duties.
  • English language (spoken and written) to Level S4 (US)/C2 (UK).
  • FREC/FPOS or equivalent trained and certified.
